Jeff Little, PharmD, MPH, BCPS, FACHE currently serves as Director of Pharmacy at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City and Adjunct Clinical Instructor with the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Jeff received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Kansas. After graduation, he completed a combined PGY‐1/PGY‐2 residency in health systems pharmacy administration in conjunction with a Master of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Jeff is Chair of the ASHP Government Affairs and PAC Advisory Committee for the 2017-2018 election cycle and is Immediate Past President of the Kansas Council of Health-Systems Pharmacy.

“During my time on the ASHP Government Affairs and PAC Advisory Committee and my time on the KCHP Board of Directors, I have seen firsthand the value of advocacy work and how vital it is to move the profession forward. The professional policies which come through the ASHP House of Delegates are crucial to this process. We cannot advocate on behalf of something as a profession without having strong polices which represent the voice of our members. It would be my honor to help ensure the voices of pharmacists in Kansas are heard as these policies are discussed and approved."

Nathan Hanson is the Division Director of Pharmacy Operations for the HealthTrust Purchasing Group.  Nathan holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Drake University, and a Master’s degree in pharmacy administration from the University of Kansas.  He completed his Health System Pharmacy Administration PGY1/PGY2 residency at the University of Kansas Health System and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.

In his role, Nathan serves the 7 Kansas City area hospitals in the HCA MidAmerica Division in the areas of controlled substance management, sterile compounding, Joint Commission readiness, pharmacy distribution, and leadership development.  He is actively involved with the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers, MSHP Public Policy Committee, and KCHP Public Affairs committee, and he serves on the Missouri Board of Pharmacy Hospital Advisory Committee.
